Use the loose translucent powder as a finishing touch after putting on makeup or for a touch-up during the day to mattify your skin and set makeup.

What is the right way to apply loose transparent setting powder?
For a natural look, use a Sephora Collection 03 Powder Brush to pick up powder and apply a light dusting, then blend outward.
To avoid clumping, tap the brush after dipping in powder to remove excess. For custom coverage, dip a powder puff or sponge into the loose translucent powder and apply it with light pressure to the areas you want to cover, then blend for an even complexion.

Which areas should be targeted?
To avoid shine in certain areas, apply the loose mattifying powder to your T-zone: forehead, nose and chin.
You can also improve your makeup’s hold by applying Sephora Collection loose matte setting powder in areas that tend to develop creases during the day (below your eyes and around your lips). Press lightly in this area, then remove excess.

Dry and powdery!

A SA recommended for my niece since she’s only a teenager with limited budget. The SA kept praising how moisturizing and transparent it is but oh man…it looks so dry and powdery on my niece. My niece has oily skin. I don’t listen to the SA recommendations anymore since then. Do your research before you go shop.

Affordable for daily use

This is a staple of my daily makeup routine. it isn't perfect, as someone with oily skin i do get a bit of a shine after maybe 4 hours but my makeup does stay through the day. The affordability is balanced with how well this works in my opinion. I always use this over my foundation and concealer and then if i want everything extra secure I'll use a setting spray, but this is perfect for daily use when i dont have anything extreme planned.
