Subversion Lash Primer

This makes the mascara! Eyelashes look longer and fuller. You know it’s a great product when you’re asked if you’re wearing false lashes. It’s that good. I have yet to find a comparable product.

Formula change / quality issues

I’ve used this product for years and it used to be amazing but the last tube I got in Sept 2023 is completely different and it’s been essentially useless on my lashes. Noticed a few other reviewers saying they also noticed a difference. Time to move on, I guess that’s show biz

Game changer to prep before mascara

I have used this product for years. It’s always a repurchase when there is a sale. When I apply, I make sure there is not an excess on the wand. In my opinion this primer makes any mascara look good over it.

Usually great but definitely not this time

I’ve used this product before and it was always fantastic. However the bottle I received this last month arrived (yes, in the plastic wrapping) clumpy, partially dried up, and mostly unusable. Like another reviewer stated, it seems like the QA department is falling down on the job.

All Dried Out!

This was very disappointing. I have used this in the past and really liked it but not this time. It seemed old and crusty. Like it was used up. Quality control needs to step it up. I wasted my money.

Makes my eyelashes look huge.

This primer really works and there’s a huge difference when I use this primer with the perversion mascara compared to without any primer. Way better than the Dior primer and less expensive.

Dried out very quickly after opening and used only a few times.

This primer does not coat the lashes evenly no matter how hard I try.

Far Surpasses Any Other Primer

After trying quite a few others I can honestly say this one is the best. I barely have lashes and it actually gives me length. I love the texture. It lasts forever. I hope UD never discontinues because I’ll cry!

I now need Subversion and Perversion in my life

I bought this primer and the Perversion mascara a few months ago, and I am buying them again today. This is my first time using a lash primer product, and it makes such a difference! I have thinning eyelashes that are light brown, and this makes my lashes look and feel fuller. I love it.

Urban Decay saves the day!

I always used to get the most terrible raccoon eyes after only a few hours with mascara on. I recently bought this and Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion and decided to use them today. I used a swipe of the Primer Potion underneath my eyes and applied the lash primer to my lashes, then quickly applied my mascara (Too Faced’s Damn Girl!). I’m now on hour eight of wearing it, and no smudging or slipping whatsoever! This has become a new holy grail product, and I’m so happy I can wear mascara again!
