Rouge G de Guerlain

Beautiful color, adds discrete color and just a bit of shine. I took one star out, as this formula is not lasting as the matte ones do from the same collection.

Beautiful design

This lipstick was a gift for my mother who is 86 and has been using Guerlain products since she was a young lady. I was glad that she loves the lipstick and that your products are still of the quality she has always enjoyed. The product is gorgeous and the packaging it arrived in was exceptional.

if you want to splurge, these are what to splurge on. i have a sheer shine lippie and a satin finish lipstick and i love both. the colours are so flattering. the formula is great, it doesn’t last all day but i don’t mind, it feels like i have nothing on my lips! plus the mirror case feels so luxurious! will be purchasing more!

Beautiful case and lipstick

Rouge G sheer shine. I love the rich red sheer colour. I'm 62 years young and have found this doesn't bleed out over the lip line. Glides on easily too.

very soft/ buttery feel on the lips when you apply it. very pigmented and i have fair to golden skintone and this is a flattering shade for me. i would love to try other shades and the satin finish as well.

This lipstick and beautiful holder with mirror is the envy of anyone who has seen me use it. The lipstick feels wonderful when applying it to your lips and leaves your lips looking Lush!

699 Magenta Sheer Sheer is buildable

this is my first guerlain lipstick and the most pricey lipstick I own up to date. I was debating between few colors, 25, 25S, 688 and 699 and picked the 699. it layers nicely with red lipstick and on its own it can be buildable. if you wear very little makeup and just want to add a slightest color on the lips. one layer should do the trick. i personally don't care for the glitter but I love the finish on this lipstick overall.

All that glitters

I purchased this during the spring sale after taking a few days to finally settle on the Nude Sheer Shine color, and I am happy to report that the actual pigment is very nice, wears essentially as a nude on my tan-neutral skin tone, and the formula is very comfortable, feels protective and hydrating. I would certainly purchase another satin from this line, however I probably wouldn't repurchase this exact color again because I am not a fan of the cheap-looking large glitter particles in this lipstick. It makes it look like a cheap lip product and not the luxe product it strives to be. The interesting thing is that there was no need to include glitter in the color at all because the formula gives a very nice and balanced shine, so the glitter is just completely superfluous. If you don't mind largely visible glitter particles in your high-end lipstick, then you probably won't have any qualms with this color, but I'm sure any of the other non-glitter colors would be just fine as all other aspects of the product perform well. I also don't find that the separate customizable lid is necessary; I forewent it and just use the plastic cap that comes with the lipstick and it hasn't come off in my bag or dislodged itself in any other way and I see no need to show off a lipstick cap anyhow. I recommend this product and this finish and pigment, just not the glitter.
