Great scalp detox

This scalp cleansing oil is powerful! I have a dry, flakey scalp that also has some oily spots, and I usually use quite a bit of product (including dry shampoo) in my hair. I only wash my hair once a week, so I like to do a really deep cleaning. You can FEEL this oil working - my scalp feels so clean afterwards.

i like it! It smells so good, makes my scalp feel tingly when I put it on (in a good way) and I can definitely see a difference. My scalp gets very greasy 20ish hours after washing and using this has helped that a lot.

Very good at healing a dry, itchy scalp. Amazing cooking tingly feeling when you apply. Easy applicator bottle unlike other brands. Tingly feeling lasts for like 10+ minutes. Hair/head never feels as clean if I use anything else. I have curly dry hair and try to wash it only once a week, so this cleansing oil is very helpful for removing any build up in that time.

When I would scratch my scalp I would pull up this powdery waxy skin under my nails. I’m not sure what it is but it’s gross. Every time I would take a shower no matter how hard I scrub I would still walk out with dandruff still in my hair as it was still wet. My scalp felt congested and just tired if that makes sense. I got this and literally no flakes out of the shower. It was so tingly and minty on my scalp!! It lasted even through the shampooing. It was so invigorating and makes me feel so clean. Smell isnt offensive at all - it’s light and pleasant. I highly highly recommend this!!

this stuff is amazing! i’ve been struggling with a dry n flaky scalp since i was 12 and nothing worked for it. after just one wash with this my scalp was 100% clear of flakes + it didn’t strip my colour !! :0)

Great for ethnic hair!

Biracial person. I get a lot of buildup inbetween wash days and this gets it off my scalp and doesn't make my hair feel dry. Easy to use.

good for sensitive scalp

Great for dry/irritated and sensitive scalp. I was having such a weird scalp issue after using a shampoo that disagreed with my skin. It was oily yet flaky and had some sore spots. This helped so much. I also got the scalp scrubbing shampoo in the same line and I like that as well. No more issues here and I'm so thankful!

feels like a nice deep clean

I like using this product once in a while to get a deeper clean. I use it before I get in the shower and then rinse it off in the shower with my shampoo. My scalp always feels nice and refreshed after.

I love this product so much! If you’re having trouble with dandruff, this is perfect. It soothes the scalp and leaves a “minty” feeling after risking the product out to give your scalp a sort of relieved feeling. Absolutely will be ordering more Amika products!
