Oud & Bergamot - Cologne Intense

Fades quickly

Gorgeous scent. Finally purchased and started using, and as per the other reviews, it does not last. I spray it on before leaving the house and can't smell it by the time I get to work.

Used to smell more pronounced

I use it when I go out with my girlfriend and other occasions that are suitable. The scent defintely used to be stronger and last longer, but now, not so much.

NEED HELP!

I fell in love with the sample of this scent, however, when I bought the bottled version, the scent was different. It just smelled like...water. I was told to return it by the representative, I did. But I cannot forget about it! I would love to try agan,, hoping the one I bought was either a defect or an expired one.

Absolutely favorite

I love this fragrance. My first Joe Malone purchases was made 10years ago Pomegranate Noir and I've never looked back.

This is a gorgeous bergamot scent. It is done so well. It just doesn't last more than 10 minutes on my skin. I have trouble with the lighter spiced fragrances from JML, they just leave my skin instantly after applying. As much as I wanted to keep it, I just couldn't because of the lasting power.

Magical...captivating...intriguing...

Originally received a sample from a friend and instantly fell in love with this fragrance. It's seems light and unnoticeable to the wearer, but believe me...everyone around you will be intrigued by this one. It's not overpowering by any means but it will make you stand out and feel confident. The best word to describe this one is "Magical". I purchased the 100ml bottle not long after sampling this for a few days and I love it just as much now as I did the first time wearing it. 100% unique, I have yet to smell anything that even compares to this.

What a wonderfully, beautiful fragrance! I love it as much as Velvet Rose and Oud and Myrrh and Tonga! Now I don't know which one to wear!

Somewhat disappointing

I have bought Oud and Bergamot going on 6 years but somehow the last purchase the fragrance seems to have changed or perhaps I've changed. It is not subtle but harsh and stale. I don't think my olfactory sense are fooling me as my other fragrances still do trick.

Beautiful but doesn't last

I love layering this with basically any Jo Malone floral, which gives it a unique and smokey kick. I especially love layering it with Pulp by Byredo. Except, this scent doesn't really seem to last, and I'm wary of over-spraying with this one because oud has such polarizing potential. I had a suspicion it was just one of those scents your nose gets used to and then tunes out (since it's so unusual), but even when I put it on my wrist instead and sniff, it's clear it's faded away. I got this as a deluxe sample with another order, and I'm hoping the dry oil has better staying power and am considering that instead of the cologne.

Not really what I am looking for

In our hot weather. This is not convenient at all. The cologne not working.

The moment.

I was walking into my bank, as I reached to open the door for a mature woman coming out. As she passed by me I couldn't help but to be hypothesize By her scent. Before I could even recollect my thoughts and figure out what I was doing, I let go of the door and quickly ran down the stairs towards her, and asked her "what was that incredible scent she was exuberantly parading so blunt yet intriguing." She told me her doctor wears it. She loved it so much, she sprays it all.over her house and cloths and it was called Oud & Bergamot by Jo Malone,(opens her purse brings out a black bottle)"I take it everywhere." I said "Thank you I think my mom.might like it," She replies "its unisex." I grin, "oh; really." Then we parted ways. Five months pass. I find my self in Dallas Fort Worth airport. I find my self passing by the Jo Malone store I recognize one of the models in the ad campaign is a childhood friend from Venice. I stop in and take a picture of the ad, before I know it hits me hard, stops me in my tracks I scent, notes of bergamot, oud, I'm quickly taken back to the bank, but I had forgotten the name of the Fragrance. I go to the front counter and tell the story to cashier. After seven different scents, then the name finally comes to me.I was elated nonetheless jo malone oud bergamot has become my signature scent also in my home. Thank you.
