This treatment oil is amazing, its texture is light and perfect, its fragrance reminds me of a mixture between a spa facial treatment and flowers, its truly beautiful, and last but certainly not least the way it makes my skin look and feel is just indescribable, clarins is my go to for skin, as i am now at an age where its important to give your skin the best possible care, this oil treatment does the job for me.

Hydrating but Not Oily

I love this serum. I have oily, acne prone skin and this gives hydration and little bit of astringent properties which works well for my type of skin. The only drawback is that it contains fragrance. I really wish at this price point there were no irritating ingredients like fragrance. I'd rather have the benefits over smell. Please Clarins, work on fragrance free products.

Amazing product!

Not my favourite....but still good!

I am a ride or die fan of the Blue Orchid Oil and I accidentally purchased this lotus oil so thought I would give it a go. It's....okay. Its not as thick as the blue orchid and doesn't give my skin that gorgeous hydration and glow that the blue orchid does, plus I'm not as over keen on the scent. I use a lot of Claris and love so many of their products, it's not a bad product but just not for me. If you have oilier skin I imagine it would be just the right amount of hydration.

Worth trying...

The formula itself is quite basic: primarily Hazelnut Oil based. I used a couple of drops each time and only on a night, following with SPF during the day. No night cream needed afterwards, as my skin felt adequately nourished. Now despite this being an oil and me having oily skin, it did slightly reduce oil production throughout the day, although not greatly, maybe about 30% less oiliness as the day progressed. Also the odd pimple that surfaced would disappear a lot sooner with a tiny dab of this applied onto it. I did notice a bit of glow upon awakening each morning. Had high hopes for this but makes my skin feel like sandpaper the next day. Smells lovely but drys my skin out
