Lip Sleeping Mask

smells bad!

It feels nice on my lips but the smell... It smells like the cold medicine u took as kid in other words it's not good

Not for me

I've tried the lip sleeping masks in the past and wasn't crazy about them but I wanted to try it again since I really wanted a candy cane lip product for the Christmas season. Picked this up during the VIB sale & glad I didn't pay full price for this because it actually dries my lips out no matter how much or how little I apply. I don't like this on top of any other lip product because it lifts anything I wear underneath & it doesn't even sink into my lips enough to hydrate & prep them before applying other lip liners. The scent is okay but the texture isn't as thick as I would like & sadly I think I'll just be giving this to a friend.

I love laneige lip sleeping mask. This flavor isn’t as minty as I had hoped, more sugary. And there is a slight tint that I could do without. But my lips feel divine in the morning.

The candy cane lip mask is okay but not good . The design is nice but the product itself is ok. If you are looking for something you show off then this is the right product for you. For dry lips I wouldn’t get it.

Candy cane swirl destroys my lips

I have used and loved the lip sleeping mask for years. Gummy bear is my fave. They hydrate my lips overnight. HOWEVER, this specific one candy cane swirl, DRIES my lips out terribly. I wake Up with flaky lips, skin is just hanging off and they are so so dry. This hasn’t happened with any of the other scents. I spend the whole day using good lip balms to repair my lips and then at night I apply the candy cane lip mask and I wake up with destroyed lips. I wanted to use it several times to make sure that this was the actual problem. Trust me it is. Don’t waste your money on this one, no matter how cute it is.

Dries out my lips

Oddly this product has the opposite effect than intended and, where previously I had no issues during the day, my lips now feel dry and uncomfortable. While the product is on they are moist - no issues and no allergic reaction. It just seems to have sucked out any moisture.

This is really good, however...

I absolutely love this product, however if you have really chapped lips, this is not for you. It makes your lips really smooth and is great if you are going to a special event or you just want to wear lip products the next day. It will make your glosses glide on super smooth and will make the look more put together. But if you have chapped or dry lips another great alternative (for the same price) is the Summer Fridays lip butter balm. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend this product to people who don't have dry lips.
