A shame the fragrance just doesn't last

My mum purchased my first bottle as a gift - I have since purchased another as I am fond of the fragrance but this will be my last as for the money it just doesn't last.

Waste of money

I have used JM products over many years and the quality is getting worse. This cologne smells nice in the bottle and then for about half an hour. After that it disappears completely. Its not my nose, I asked other people and they cannot smell it on me either. Tried using more product. Tried the tips on website and moisturising skin. Read the other reviews and see it's not just me. The product simply needs more actual fragrance ingredients in it. Disappointed and upset my partner spent so much money on this as a special treat.

Addictive

I have been wearing this a few months - I am masculine but increasingly am drawn to unisex scents as they tend to be more lively, novel, and interesting and actually smell better to most people. This scent trends masculine, I feel, but anyone would love it. JM's description is accurate and I can't add much to it- so what can I say other than that I just can't stop burying my nose down my shirt collar to inhale the scent when noone is looking lol!

Disappointing

This was bought as a birthday gift for my mum who requested it after having used the body lotion and loving the Lime Basil & Mandarin smell. Sadly, the gift is being returned because the colgone simply does not last. I had read some other reviews saying the same but kept my fingers crossed JM may have corrected that. Sadly not. Mum gave up wearing it within a couple of days because all traces of fragrance were gone within an hour - not want you want in a perfume and certainly not one of this price! Really disappointing from an expensive brand - you are better off buying a cheaper option that actually lasts.

Not what I expected

Upon opening my 100ml bottle I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma. I could smell the Lime, Basel and Mandarin and thought I'm going to enjoy wearing this, but I'm sorry what a letdown. I know with niche fragrances sometimes you can't smell them yourself, but the aroma is given off to people with your space or in passing. No luck with this as you wouldn't really know you've actually sprayed this on within an hour. It does linger a bit longer on clothing, but that's not great. I do like my fragrances to be a bit different, but I'm sorry Jo on this occasion it's not one I would purchase again. I have persevered but still not great.

Really unpleasant

Was gifted a 100 ml bottle of this perfume and dislike it immensely - it reminds me of insect repellent. This is my 3rd Jo Malone - I have bottles of the wood sage and sea salt, and English pear and freesia, and love both of those. Feel terrible about the waste but wearing it makes me feel even worse. So disappointed in the brand - Don't know what to do with the bottle I have, wish I could trade it in

New perfume to try!

I was looking for a citrus scent for my new perfume and I once got a sample for this scent last time. I fell in love with this scent so I bought this perfume. However, I heard that Jo Malone perfume scent doesn't last that long (so you need to spray frequently) so I am just hoping that it doesn't fade away too quickly. I got 50ml so I will see how it goes first.

Spicy Mandarin

I received this as a sample. It's a perfectly lovely fragrance of spicy lime mandarin. Its just not my favorite. I definitely agree that it evokes the Caribbean. It's almost masculine to me. Some will love this. It's just secondary to some other Jo Malone favorites to me. I see this as a summer daytime scent. Mixed with a chocolate perfume might be lovely.

Really disliked the smell

Unfortunately I purchased this some time ago and really disliked the scent it's been sat on the side ever since unused expected it to be a lot nicer for jo Malone fragrances
