Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Nude

I am begging you to bring this back!

Yes I am literally begging! This foundation was just the best - longwearing, very blendable, buildable, subtly mattifying. I have spent hundreds of pounds trying to find a replacement which is as good to no avail from either yourself or any of the other major cosmetics houses and a few more fails from Instagram purchases besides! When I say I am desperate, I really mean it, as I am down to my last few precious drops and really don't know what I will do when they are gone and I am a girl who needs foundation!

Why

I have to ask why this amazing foundation has been discontinued??? I’ve tried the new foundation to which I am allergic so it’s not better for your skin. Seriously you get nothing but disappointment from these companies who launch something so good then 2 years later it’s gone. Shame on you lancome. This was the only foundation in your range that actually gave a no make up look and didn’t crease for us older ladies but hey I guess we are not ‘on trend’ so we don’t matter

Why is this foundation not selling anymore?

Apparently Lancome is not going to sell this amazing foundation anymore. Is it going to come back? Is there any good alternative that is as matte and light as this one?

Absolutely gutted you are discontinuing!

This is my all time favourite foundation and I cannot believe you are discontinuing it! I don't know how you can do this to customers and feel really let down. I love the light finish and blendability of this foundation (and the shine control element) and I can find nothing to compare to it. I went through this same panic and disappointment when you discontinued my previous favourite Teint Visionnaire which was an award winning foundation. The regular Teint Idole fluid foundation just doesn't suit my mature skin. Please would you reconsider discontinuing this product or provide an alternative product of comparable quality and finish.

I’m absolutely disgusted by Lancôme how could you do that to us this was one and last best ever foundation Your original Teint Idole is not good at all You are not honest company sorry

Love this more than the original

I’ve been using Teint Idole ultra wear for 12 years and loved it until turning 43 and my previously oily skin became dehydrated. I found that foundation was too heavy so I decided to try this nude version. Texture wise this is fair lighter, runnier and quite thin. But it applies like a dream and provides light coverage and feels like you’re not wearing anything! While my skin is dehydrated it is still oily in places but I find that this foundation lasts all day on me when set with a little powder. I love how this makes me look bright and healthy and hopefully knocks of a few years too!

Very good foundation

Very good foundation if you want to achieve a "no makeup" makeup look. It stays extremely soft and natural on the skin, while hiding some imperfections. It is ideal for day makeup because it gives a very pleasant radiance to the skin. However, I don't think it is suitable for oily skin.

Very greasy

Very greasy the whole day, uncomfortable after wearing Lightweight look, very heavy greasy the whole day

Great bottle

Bought this over a month ago and was rather disappointed as it looked very cakey on my skin and did not blend in well.

Oxidises badly, looks dark and grey

I bought the shade 045 after doing a colour match online. On first application, it seemed perfect for my skin tone and natural but after like half an hour my face looked 2 shades dark and grey. Even though this is meant for yellow undertones, there isn’t enough yellow in it. Because this is Lancôme, I expected it be sensitive skin friendly but it has a perfume that bothers me. Even though it looks natural, I constantly feel something on my skin and face feels hot. For a combination and textured skin, I would still recommend Estée Lauder over the Lancôme one.

Really strongly perfumed

I personally ( perhaps wrongly ) bought this for some light coverage for daily use . I found the smell very strong for my skin and it felt very powdery. My skin felt itchy and I had to take it off. Really just not for me at all sadly! I will go back to good old teinte miracle !

Amazing product

I had this foundation as a sample from a Lancôme store in boots. I was looking for an Estée Lauder foundation at the time when an assistant asked me to try the Lancôme foundation. I have to say this is by far the best foundation I have ever had! I have had all the high end foundations in the past from Bobbi brown to Estée Lauder and this is by far the best! It feels very light weight, amazing coverage, feels like you are not wearing anything and it’s lasts all day long. My skin is very sensitive and breaks out so easily and this foundation doesn’t irritate my skin whatsoever! Please Lancôme don’t ever stop making this foundation or change the formula, as it perfect!! I was looking for a replacement foundation for my Estée Lauder dw light foundation as the company completing ruined that foundation when they changed the shades and formula and luckily I discovered this nude teint miracle. Happy days!!
