Gorgeous, distinctive woody-floral scent!

Lancome Community Review: Lancome La Vie L'Extrait 50ml I was delighted to have been accepted to test and review this new fragrance from Lancome as a member of the My Lancome Community. I was intrigued to find out how this scent would differ from the La Vie Est Belle range as I am already familiar with the scents of the other fragrances. This is the first Lancome fragrance to capture the wonderful scent of OUD Wood combined with a sensational floral scent. At first sight the packaging and colour of the bottle looks luxurious and very inviting! The fragrance does have a long lasting and distinctive woody-floral scent which can last up to 10 hours after application. I enjoyed using this fragrance due to its very distinctive OUD wood scent. It has the perfect blend of floral and woody scent and it is not like any other fragrances that I have used previously. This is a very unique fragrance within the La Vie Est Belle range and is unlike La Vie Est Belle Eau De Perfum which is more of a subtle floral sweet scent. This fragrance has quickly become one of my favourite go to perfumes due to its distinctive scent and I dont have to reapply the fragrance throught the day. It does have the luxury fragrance price tag but it is worth the price and the packaging and bottle are recyclable. I would happily purchase this for myself or as a gift for someone special. I would recommend this fragrance for those looking for a much stronger, distinctive, long-lasting woody and floral scent. I was kindly sent the Lancome La Vie Est Belle L’extrait to test and review as part of the My Lancome Community. The bottle is beautiful, a gold/copper coloured bottle with the same wings on the bottle that we are used to with all the gorgeous Lancome LVEB scents! The fragrance itself is warm, floral and woody and smells divine! I absolutely love the blend between the floral rose and iris notes with the warmth of the oud - it’s a beautiful fragrance for winter! I love how strong the scent is too, it lasted all day and didn’t require any topping up throughout the day. Overall I’m very happy with this perfume and it’s definitely staying close to hand on my perfume shelf!

Exceptional!

I tried this one and I'm in love with it! This will be my new winter fragrance. I have been using La vie est belle for years now and I found this one exceptional! A lovely long lasting woody and floral fragnance. The rose and iris notes are powerful. The oud note comes later on and I love that. It is a great fall/ winter fragrance in my opinion. It lasts for a very long time and it sticks to my clothes and hair for a while. The oud note combined with the rose and iris makes an exceptional and divine fragrance. It smells luxurious. I agree that it is a sensual grown up fragnance. The bottle itself is very luxurious. A beautiful smoky rose gold bottle with a shimmering ribbon. I love the packaging! I already received many compliments when wearing this fragrance to work.

Magical and sophisticated

I was lucky to recive this perfume from my lancome community as a gift for my honest review. This perfume arrive in a beautiful sparkling gold box. I adore the stunning and absolutely gorgeous gold bottle design with a cute, lovely ribbon. The floral heart of Damascena Rose blends with Iris Pallida to create unique scent. Perfect for any occasion, to boost my mood and feel special everyday. I had many complaints when wearing this perfume. This is absolutely beautiful and sophisticated floral woody fragrance. I would definitely recommend for all fragrance lovers. It would be amazing for Christmas gift or birthday present. The bottle is stunning and perfume smells divine.

L'Extrait

As a member of My Lancôme community I was chosen to test this new fragrance. The package at first glimpse is elegant. The bottle is solid copper with it's emblematic wing glittery golden. "The smile" is still there, you only have to discover it. The fragrance once tried is taking your senses to another level. It's rich, opulent, complete. The Oud is strong at the beginning and it's overwhelming, but after a while is setting and the core of LVEB is unveiled exactly as it is with it's signature sweet elegant notes of rose and iris. The gorgeous fragrance lasts for very long time, and it's resistant to transition from hot to cold and the other way around. I reckon that this new formula will satisfy even the most precious tastes. So I can proudly say that this will make a perfect gift. Congratulations to the 2 Master perfumers that worked together for perfection taking LVEB to the highest level!

Love it 💛

I am a fan of Lancome perfumes. Sometimes I buy perfume because I like the bottle, but not this time. Fresh, slightly sweet, woody + iris is an ideal combination for a perfect scent.Completetely different from the original la vie . As they say, this is my cup of tea. The smell lasts a long time on clothes, even after a day or two. in my opinion, this smell is more suitable for evening or special occasions. My husband is also a fan of good perfumes. I noticed that sometimes he even uses this perfume, layered with his other perfumes.

Opulent Perfume

The new La vie e Belle L'Extrait reassembles that classic scent and design of the bottle , but yet comes up with a different trending approach. With a lavish perfumes bottle, catches every attention form the first glimpse of it and impose a desire to own this. The scent is no different than the bottle , mysterious , elegant , sophisticated form the first encounter with the notes, starting strong with woody scent , then slowly settles allowing the rose and iris duet to lift your mood instantly. Indeed a symphony of happiness I would call this perfume. I could feel the original La vie e belle notes here , rich and intense and I absolutely adore this in every way, keeping something from the original scent. I do feel that the oud note made this scent , for me personally , a more unisex perfume , so would recommend for both parts to give it a try , then you will be very pleasantly surprised. I would love to mention how long lasting this perfume is, sprayed on the back of my ear , just where the hair line is starting , allows the scent to be felt with every move , feels like applying it again and again with every twist or move. The bottle is absolute breathtaking , shiny , gold , with the matching ribbon - one to keep in the collection , even after is finished.

Gorgeous

Being a member of my Lancôme Community I was very happy to be selected to test this fragrance in exchange for my honest opinion. First impression was the bottle a gold colour with gold glitter wings and looks stunning on my dressing table. The top notes are bergamot pink pepper with middle notes of damascena rose jasmine iris pallida along with oud wood accord as the base notes. I have been a lover of la vie est belle since first trying a sample of the original ten years ago and ever since have always worn and will always buy a new one once this has run out, so I was very excited to try the new la vie est belle but being very honest the first spray I wasn't quite sure if I liked it or not the original is very sweet where as this fragrance is totally different and is nothing like the original this fragrance you can smell the oud wood accord and wasn't a fragrance I would buy if tried a sample having said that once it jad worn of I did start liking it it is a very strong fragrance and lasts all day, I now really like this fragrance and the bottle is absolutely stunning.

Belle Woody Iris

Received the Lancôme La Vie est Belle L'Extrait as a product tester from MyLancomeaCommunity. This is fragrance is an absolute dream with a lovely blend of the floral scents of rose and iris with the mix of oud wood. Once you spray the perfume and scent that lingers on isn't overpowering and is the perfect perfume for the winter seasons giving the right balance of floral and woody fragrance. This has to be one of my favourite La Vie est Belle.😍

LA VIE EST BELLE L'EXTRAIT

I received this product from lancôme as a member of the Community and I could not wait to try it as I have been a huge fan of La Vie Est Belle since the launch in 2012. The bottle itself is gold and very precious with a beautiful sparkly glittery bow and it comes in a beautiful gold box with a glittery sparkly border and the metal lid engraved with the Lancôme rose on top adds to the pure luxury of this new perfume. On a first spritz the perfume reminds me of the previous La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu i found it quite similar on a first impression then I could smell the oud and frankincense blending in with the Iris Padilla which is deep and powdery and then the floral Damascena Rose adding to the beautiful combination. I find it a lovely rich fragrance that has a wintery warm feeling and it makes a great addition to my La Vie Est Belle Collection. It is so unique and different to what is already available and so far apart from the other La Vie Est Belle fragrances. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Top notes are: Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Incense Accord. ⭐⭐⭐ The middle notes are: Damascena Rose, Jasmine and Iris Pallida. ⭐⭐⭐ The base notes: Oud Wood Accord which gives this fragrance its deep woody Iris fragrance. I normally am not a fan of Oud I find it too strong and overpowering but this is a great mix and it is not overpowering or too strong as it's blended beautifully and adds to the character of this wonderful new fragrance. I found it long lasting and very sophisticated and also classy. I would highly recommend and buy again and I would suggest if your a huge La Vie Est Belle fan you should give this a try and if your not a fan of the original I still think this could be a fragrance for you.
