Disappointed Caused Oily Skin and Pilling

Very moisturizing but made my skin feel oily and it pilled. I'm a big fan of Summer Fridays but this one fell short of expectations.

Not for me.

It definitely felt nice going on the skin, however just 2 weeks of use, I was left with clogged pores and tiny bumps all over my cheeks.

My holy grail moisturizer

This moisturizer is my holy grail, i’ve been using it for the last 2 years and i went through so many jars. Suitable for combination sensitive skin, doesn’t leave my face sticky at all.

I love other Summer Fridays products and this one was a flop. Within two applications my face was red and irritated. It felt like a horrible chemical burn and I threw out the container. It took nearly a week for my skin to recover and aquaphor was the only skin care that helped it heal.

Tacky and not suitable for dry skin?

I love that it is fragrance free, but not sure if this suitable for dry skin. It leaves my skin tacky, and h doesn’t feel super moisturizing. Feels more like a body lotion feeling.

Perfect for my skin

The sample I received made my skin tingle so I was worried based on other reviews, but the full size pot seems to have a different formula, maybe? Anyway, this moisturizer is perfect for my combination skin and I've gotten compliments since using it for about a week. Nobody ever comments on my skin so that's been a nice surprise. This is now in my daily routine--lightweight, no breakouts or reactions to the formula here.

I really wanted to love it!

I bought this a couple days ago and used it for the first time yesterday morning. I loved the way it went on and my skin felt so soft, smooth and moisturized throughout the day. However, I used it again last night and about 30 minutes later, my jawline, chin and neck were red, itchy, burning and had a bunch of red bumps. I trialed it again this morning to ensure it was the moisturizer and not something else in my routine, however the same thing happened except the reaction was immediate. I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately am unable to continue using due to my skins sensitivity to it now.

I love the product this is my second time buying it. My one complaint is the jar is to small.

Must have

Amazing. Beautiful wonderful. Worth every single penny. For my combo girls, this is PERFECT. Not heavy so won’t leave that greasy feel, just enough to give you that moisturized, dewy feel under makeup. Summer Fridays PLEASE make a bigger jar.

Super itchy

I really wanted to like this product, but it broke me out very badly and turned my face all red and itchy. I have really sensitive skin and the itching is terrible.

Good for oily skin!

I didn’t want to love this bc $$ but it’s so good. It gives you the glow without making you more oily and goes really well under makeup

Not my best purchase

It has this jelly-like texture which I like, and it is a light cream which is huge for me, but still it leaves my skin a bit grassy and oily which was definitely the thing I pay attention to the most, to be honest. And it also makes my eyes sore, like they itch a bit, and they are all teary whenever I wear this cream, even though I put in the extra effort to completely AVOID using it near the eyes but still it is not the best.
